Keep in line with the equality theme.
I believe we should only have one taxing body. The federal government. All expenses for local and state government should be paid by the federal government.
All departments in the state and local movement should have equal expense. Should your municipal operate at 10x the expense of the municipal next to you.
The cost will end up being on the local taxpayer. Which end up killing the municipal all because the political leader made bad choices. People in some area are broke.
Squeezing them for more cash will kill them. We need to know what each government body is paying.  I would like to see all government expense sheets posted on the web so we can see where wasted spending is.

I am also thinking get rid of all local and state sales taxes and move to a federal sales tax to add on population tax to help the poorer states.

This is to stop the war between the States.  Look at New York they offer move your business here and we give you a tax break. If a business move what happen in the States they move from. They would lose valuable income. The States next step is to raise taxes.  Now if people keep moving out because the taxes are too high the state will not pay any bills. The state that receives the people will end up being overcrowded. It's like putting 100 people in a room that meant for 50
They won’t be able to move.

The federal tax form is currently benefiting the rich. Look at Schedule A. Only the rich or people with money benefits.  Did you know plastic surgery is deductible? Who can get plastic surgery mostly people who have money.
In most of my years of taxpaying I may have use schedule A a few time. People with money use it all the time.

I believe we can have a Flat tax on individual and a tiered tax on business.
